Madison Mashuga scored her second goal on the evening at 5:46 to push Minnesota State to a 3-2 victory over Bemidji State Friday evening at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
The Mavericks (14-16-1 8-16-1) jumped on the board early at the 4:22 mark of the opening period as junior
Madison Mashuga snapped home her eighth goal on the season and first on the night.
The Beavers answered just 11 minutes later as
Reece Hunt scored at the 13:53 mark to even the score.
Bemidji State took the lead early in the second period as
McKayla Zilisch put the Beaver ahead with her first collegiate goal.
The Mavericks struck twice to regain the lead under six minutes early in the third period courtesy of senior
Kelsey King's 12th goal on the season and junior
Madison Mashuga's ninth on the season.

Charlotte Akervik finished the night with two helpers each earning the third and second stars of the night.

Lauren Barbro earns her seventh win improving to a 7-9-0 record on the season after stopping 19 of 21 shots she faced.
