Sydney Langseth combined for four points on the evening keeping the Mavericks within striking distance against the Beavers Saturday night. Senior
Jamie Nelson collected her third game-winning-goal on the season lifting the Mavericks over the Beavers by a 3-2 final at the Sanford Center.
Minnesota State (3-10-0, 1-9-0 WCHA) broke a ten-game winless streak with a road win against Bemidji State, their first WCHA victory of the season. The Beaver's
Hailey Armstrong was first on the board with a power play goal at 8:53 in the first period. Just five minutes later, Tuttle responded with a goal of her own, with assists from Langseth and senior
Charlotte Akervik.
The Mavericks gained the lead toward the end of the second period with a power play goal from Langseth, passed around by freshman
JuliAnna Gazdik and sophomore
Taylor Otremba. Another power play goal from BSU leveled the score.
No scoring in the third period sent the teams into overtime. Langseth and Akervik collected their second assists of the night after Nelson's third goal of the weekend (eighth overall) gave the Mavericks the OT win.
Senior
Lauren Barbro notched her second win on the season stopping 22 of 24 shots faced. The Mavericks led the game in shots on goal 36-24.

Minnesota State hits the road for the Smashville Classic in Nashville, Tenn., on November 25, first facing Robert Morris University at 4:00 p.m.
