MANKATO, Minn. --- No. 13 Minnesota State will host Southwest Minnesota State on Friday at 3 p.m. before traveling to Winona State to take on the Warriors on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Last week, MSU battled St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth going 1-0-1 on the weekend. The Mavericks failed to find the back of the net on Friday against the Huskies after generating 12 shot attempts and five shots on goal. Like the weather, MSU turned up the heat on Sunday as sophomore Addison Clarey, freshman Maddix Archer, and junior Louisa Shromoff notched goals in Sunday's 3-0 victory. Minnesota State will head into this weekend with an overall record of 6-1-3 sitting tied with Northern State at 14 conference points at the top of the NSIC standings.
