MANKATO, Minn. --- No. 15 Minnesota State will host Sioux Falls on Friday at 3 p.m. before its showdown against Wayne State on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Last week, MSU battled Southwest Minnesota State and Winona State going 1-0-1 for the third consecutive weekend. The Mavericks played their first match at the Maverick All-Sports Dome since March 5, 2021, on Friday as MSU topped SMSU 3-0.

Avery Korsching collected two goals on the afternoon launching her into the team lead in goals (5) and points (11). Korsching is tied for third in the NSIC in goals and fourth in points. Sophomore
Addison Clarey notched her third goal on the season while also collecting her third helper placing her second in team points with nine. The Mavericks failed to find the back of the net on Sunday against the Warriors after generating 17 shot attempts with 10 landing on goal.
Minnesota State heads into this weekend with an overall record of 7-1-4 sitting tied with Northern State for second place owning 18 conference points in the NSIC standings.
Facing USF: Heading into the 13th matchup with Sioux Falls, the Mavericks are a perfect 12-0-0 against the Cougars. USF has gone 3-2-2 in conference play owning a 3-5-2 overall record this season. In MSU's previous matchup with the Cougars, the Mavericks own 4.42 average goals scored per match. MSU has outscored Sioux Falls 53-2 in their all-time history.

WSU is tied with Sioux Falls in the NSIC standings with a 3-2-2 conference record and a 5-4-2 overall record. Similar to Friday's matchup, the Mavericks own a 4.53 goals scored per match average. MSU has outscored Wayne State 77-4 over a 25-year period.
