BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Sophomore
Denisha Cartwright has earned her fourth NSIC Track Athlete of the Week honors in this week's edition of the release.
Cartwright, a Nassau, Bahamas native, won the 100m hurdles at the Deb Schulz Open with a time of 13.38. With this performance she ranks first in Division II and broke the meet record in the event. The sophomore also finished second in the 200m dash with a time of 23.64 and ranks seventh in Division II in this event.
This is the fourth time this outdoor season that Cartwright has earned this recognition.
Cartwright and the Mavericks return to action this Thursday as they begin day one of the NSIC Outdoor Championships in Aberdeen, S.D., on the campus of Northern State University.
