ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's track field team traveled to Gustavus Adolphus College to compete in the Gustie Twilight Wednesday evening.
In the high jump, Minnesota State took the top five spots in the event with Zoe Stone claiming the victory with a height of 5' 4.25'' (1.63m)
Caitlyn Jones finished second in the long jump with a leap of 16' 1.5'' (4.91m).
Paige Hickson took home the victory in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional height of 12' 11.5'' (3.95m). Hickson currently ranks 19th in the country. Paige Bauer finished second with a mark of 11' 11.75'' (3.65m).
Brea Perron won the shot put with a of 45' 9.75'' (13.96m). Perron ranks seventh in the nation.
In the 400m dash the Mavericks took the top six finishing spots with sophomore Nyeaee Robins winning the event with a time of 59.63.
Lyric Brennen won the 100m hurdles event with a time of 15.38. Karla Reyes finished third the in the 100m dash with a time of 14.34.
Minnesota State swept the top spots on the podium in the hammer throw with Perron claiming another victory with a toss of 179' 7'' (54.75m). She currently ranks sixth in the country in the event.
In the javelin throw, Mack Rath finished third with a throw of 103' 5'' (31.52m).
Emma Borowicz finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.82.
Minnesota State finished first through fifth in the 200m dash with Amaiya Barnes claiming the win with a time of 26.60.
In the discus throw, Madeline Fretag claimed victory with a heave of 138' 5'' (42.19m).

The Mavericks return to action tomorrow as the begin the first of three days of the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
