Hillman scored again at 6:23 of the third off a nice backhand feed from behind the goal line from
Cade Borchardt. And BGSU tallied the last goal of the game with a Nathan Burke power play marker with two seconds left in the game.
The Mavericks outshot the Falcons by a 39-19 margin in the contest and Minnesota State freshman netminder
Alex Tracy, who finished with 17 stops, ups his record on the season to 6-1-0.
Minnesota State continues CCHA action next weekend with Bemidji State visiting Mankato for a pair of games scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
