OWATONNA, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to the MSU Moorhead Dragons Saturday afternoon in Owatonna, Minn.
The Mavericks now own a 2-13 overall record, including a 1-9 NSIC record. With the win, the Dragons improve to 8-2 overall and 8-2 in NSIC action.
The Dragons began the dual winning all three of the doubles matches to claim the first point of the dual. Junior

Dee Dokken put up the best effort in the No. 1 doubles match but they fell to Mikaela Griechen and Julia Geske by the score of 6-2.
The Dragons then went on to win all six of the singles matches in straight sets to secure the 7-0 sweep. Freshman
Abigail Clayton fell to Miranda Griechen by the scores of 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 5 singles match, while sophomore
Kjerstin Hall lost to Mikaela Griechen 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 4 singles match.
Minnesota State concludes its regular season on Sunday as it takes on the University of Mary in Owatonna, Minn. The dual is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.
