MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State head football coach Todd Hoffner has announced that 12 student-athletes will join the Maverick football team this fall.

All signings are contingent upon admission to MSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.

This year's recruiting class features 12 student-athletes from five different states including Iowa (6), Illinois (2), Wisconsin (2), Minnesota (1) and Nebraska (1).
 
"We are excited for all of our newcomers who are joining the Herd," Hoffner said.  "The diligent work by the assistant football coaches was relentless and much appreciated. Even though this group is half of a normal recruiting class, it truly represents our footprint in the upper midwest! When it comes to difference makers, the 2021 recruiting class possesses a lot of high end promise. The 2021 recruiting cycle has not ended, but with luck and lineman you can't go wrong in the sport of football. Roll Herd!"
