LAKEVILLE, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team was swept 7-0 by St. Cloud State Sunday afternoon in Lakeville, Minn.
With the loss, MSU drops to 0-2 on the season including a 0-2 NSIC record. With the win, SCSU improves to 1-1, including a 1-1 conference record.
The Huskies won all three of the doubles matches to claim the dual's first point of the day. Junior

Lauren Goth put up the best effort in the No. 1 doubles match, but they fell to Jill Kedrowski and Hina Goldsmith by the score of 6-3.
The Huskies then won all six of the singles matches in straight sets to lock down the 7-0 win. In the No. 6 singles match freshman
Abigail Clayton pushed the second set into a tied breaker but SCSU's Emma Brunkow took the match by the scores of 6-1, 7-6 (3-0).
Minnesota State returns to action on Sunday, February 21 as it takes on Bemidji State at 10:30 a.m., and Minnesota Crookston at 3:30 p.m. Both duals will take place in Grand Forks, N.D.
