Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State Athletics is excited to announce its partnership with Opendorse, an athlete marketing company leading the industry in helping student-athletes build their personal brands with digital content.

"We are excited to be part of the Opendorse family," said Kevin Buisman, Minnesota State's Director of Athletics. "As the student-athlete experience continues to evolve and we move forward with navigating the Name, Image and Likeness landscape, it is important that we equip them with the right tools to be successful in this realm while ensuring appropriate compliance and oversight measures are maintained.  We also look forward to working with our student-athletes to strategically enhance our opportunities to market and promote their teams using the Opendorse platform."

With this partnership, Minnesota State becomes the first multi-divisional school in the nation to become a full partner with Opendorse.

The Opendorse NIL Suite – Opendorse Ready™, Monitor™, and Social™ – is available to all Minnesota State student-athletes, allowing them to prepare for success in the new era of college sports with the market's leading NIL partner in Opendorse. Maverick student-athletes will have tools to understand, build, and protect their brands with the industry's leading education, marketing, and compliance technology.

Opendorse Ready™
Opendorse Ready is the elite NIL education solution in college athletics. The program provides student-athletes with industry-proven assessment, education, and performance tools to understand, build, and protect their personal brands as we enter a new era. Having facilitated endorsement opportunities with thousands of professional athletes since 2012, Opendorse has built Ready on a foundation of tangible insights and data from a decade of athlete marketing experience.

With Ready, Minnesota State will provide student-athletes with custom brand value assessments, live consultation sessions with industry leaders, and on-demand access to the NIL Masterclass, an education series featuring experts on brand building, monetization, and financial literacy from leading brands including Instagram, Twitter, the Players' Tribune, and Overtime.

Opendorse Monitor™
Opendorse Monitor is the compliance product athletes use to protect their brand. With Monitor, athletes can seamlessly disclose activities to simplify compliance and safeguard eligibility. Institutions are able to evaluate transactions and protect their interests.

A new feature within Monitor is the NIL Policy Kit. The Kit is built to allow college athletics programs to easily customize and generate a clear NIL policy to support athletes, staff, and stakeholders. It is likely that a defined policy will be mandated or highly necessary as changes to NIL legislation take hold.

Opendorse Social™
Opendorse Social is the marketing product athletes use to build their brands. Thousands of professional and college sports organizations use Social to maximize their media – equipping athletes with access through drag-and-drop media libraries, one-tap publishing technology, and real-time analytics.

Opendorse allows Minnesota State Athletics to deliver content directly to student-athletes efficiently and effectively via an app. The partnership also provides an avenue to encourage student-athletes, coaches & staff to help build their own personal brands, and that of their programs and the University.
