SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team finished second at the Augustana Invitational.
The Mavericks tallied 1,194 points, while the University of South Dakota finished first with 1,458.5 points. South Dakota State finished third with 911 points.
Senior
Anja Enervold took third place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:03.93. Sophomore
Elise Mishmash also took third place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.35. Senior
Kailyn Arps earned a third place finish in the 200 breaststroke event with a time of 2:19.82. She was followed by senior
Emily Goodman in fourth (2:21.56) and junior
Darah Coleman in fifth (2:24.72).

Ella DeFever, senior
Kate Flynn, Enervold and Mishmash turned in a third place finish with a time of 3:28.55
Flynn finished fourth in the 100 IM with a time of 59.14, with junior
Kayla Rinderknecht following in fifth with a time of 59.28.
Sophomore
Ayla Taylor took second place in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 251.05. Freshman
Aspen Warnygora took third in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 246.70 also.
Minnesota State begins its winter break training trip on December 28. The Mavericks will return to action on January 14 as it takes on Augustana in Sioux Falls, S.D., at 5:00 p.m.
