Mankato, Minn. ---   #2 Minnesota State had four different players score goals in Sunday's 4-1 win over Ferris State in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game played in Mankato Sunday.

The host Mavericks, who have extended their nation's best unbeaten streak to nine games with the win, scored twice in the first period and added another two in the second period in downing the Bulldogs.

At 4:59 of the second period, Borchardt finished off a Minnesota State power play for his sixth goal of the year, tapping Nathan Smith's blast into the back of the net and allowing the Mavericks to regain its two-goal lead. Walker Duehr got his second goal of the weekend, picking up his own rebound and finishing with a backhander at 17:13 and giving Minnesota State a 4-1 lead after two periods of play.
