ST. PETER, Minn.. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 sweep at the hands of the Augustana Vikings Sunday.
With the loss, the Mavericks drop to 2-7 on the season, including a 1-7 NSIC record. With the win, AU improves to 11-0 on the season, including an 8-0 NSIC record.
The Vikings began the dual winning all three of the doubles matches by the score of 6-0 to claim the first point of the dual. Senior

Tyanna Washa faced Laura Arce Vieyra and Grace Goble in the No. 1 doubles match.
Augustana then swept the six singles matches in straight sets to secure the 7-0 win. Ryan fell to Arce Vieyra 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles match, while Washa took a 6-0, 6-1 loss to Aleksandra Kistanova in the No. 3 singles match.
Minnesota State returns to action on Saturday, March 28, as it takes on Gustavus Adolphus and Southwest Minnesota State in St. Peter, Minn. The duals are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., respectively.
