FARGO, N.D. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 sweep against the University of Mary Sunday afternoon in Fargo, N.D.
With the loss, the Mavericks drop to 1-2 on the season, including a 0-2 NSIC record. With the win, U-Mary improves to 2-0 on the season, including a 2-0 conference record.

Tyanna Washa put forth the best effort in the No. 1 doubles match as they fell to Tasha Dembo and Yusra Hegy by the score of 6-4.
U-Mary then swept the six singles matches in straight sets to claim the 7-0 win. Washa suffered a 6-2, 6-1 loss to Kelsey Lajom in the No. 3 singles match, while sophomore
Lauren Goth fell to Jamie Stoppler 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 4 singles match. Sophomore
Kjerstin Hall suffered a 6-1 -6 loss to Danille Wolf in the No. 5 singles match also.
Minnesota State continues its season on the road this Saturday as it takes on the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m.
