OWATONNA, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team picked up its first conference dual victory of the season as it swept Minnesota Crookston 7-0 Saturday evening in Owatonna, Minn.
With the win, MSU improves to 2-4 on the season, including a 1-4 NSIC record. With the loss, UMC drops to 0-6 on the season and in conference play.
The Mavericks won all three of the doubles matches to gain the first point of the dual. Senior

Tyanna Washa turned in a 6-2 win in the No. 1 doubles match, while freshman
Dee Dokken and sophomore
Lauren Goth won the No. 2 doubles match 6-0. MSU won the third doubles match via a forfeit also.
The Mavericks then swept the six singles matches to secure the 7-0 win. Ryan, Dokken and Washa all turned in 6-0, 6-0 wins in the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches, respectively. Goth posted a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 4 singles match, while sophomore
Kjerstin Hall tallied a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 5 singles match. MSU won the No. 6 singles match via forfeit as well.
Minnesota State wraps up its weekend in Owatonna, Minn., on Sunday as it takes on Bemidji State at 1:00 p.m.
