Bowling Green, Ohio. --- Third-ranked Minnesota State won its sixth straight game and got goals from six different players in skating to a 6-3 victory at #15 Bowling Green in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game played in Big Rapids, Mich., Friday.
Both teams were able to generate some offensive chances in the opening period and it was the visiting Mavericks who were able to cash in first. Senior forward
Charlie Gerard tallied his fifth power play goal of the season after taking a pass from
Lucas Sowder and ripping a shot past Eric Dop at 4:46. The Falcons evened the score four minutes later when freshman winger

Lucas Sowder had the third three-point game of his career with three assists in the victory.
