As a Maverick: Four-time letterman (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20)...Team captain for the Mavericks in 2018-19 and 2019-20...Completed career with 71-91--162 in 148 career games (tied for second on Minnesota State's career scoring list (DI era) and established school career record for shorthanded goals with ten)...Four-time All-WCHA First Team selection.
2019-20: 2019-20 AHCA/CCM West First Team All-America...2019-20 WCHA Offensive Player of the Year...2019-20 All-WCHA First Team...Led Minnesota State in scoring on the season with 20-24--44...44 points tied for third in the country (despite missing seven games due to injury) and tied for second in the country in points per game (1.42)...Led the WCHA in goals per game (0.65), points per game (1.42), power play points (21), shorthanded goals (three) and game-winning goals (five). Had five goals and an assist for six points in the two wins versus the Beavers. Collected second career hat trick (including the game-inning goal) in Friday's 5-2 victory, with the goals coming three different ways - power play, shorthanded and empty net. 2016-17:  2016-17 All-WCHA First Team and was also named to 2016-17 WCHA All-Rookie Team...Finished conference play ranking second in the league in points with 13-15-28 in 28 league games...Led Minnesota State in scoring with 36 points on 14 goals and 22 assists...Registered second-highest ever point total by a Maverick freshman for the DI-era...Accrued at least one point in 24 of 39 games played in his debut season with the Mavericks...Two-time WCHA Rookie of the Week award recipient (vs. Alaska Dec. 2-3, first career hat trick and seven total points in two games vs. Nanooks & 1-3--4 in 2 games at Princeton)...Selected as the National Rookie of the Month for December in Division I by the Hockey Commissioners’ Association (HCA) and was named WCHA Rookie of the Month after he registered five goals and seven assists for 12 points in six games in December...Picked up Most Valuable Player Award at team end-of-the-year banquet...Named Minnesota State Athletics Male Newcomer of the Year.
THE MICHAELIS FILE:  Two-year USHL vet spent a pair of seasons with Green Bay where he had 10-41--51 in 59 games in 2015-16...Tied for 14th in league scoring and ranked second in the USHL in assists in 2015-16...Had 15-8--23 in 32 games with the Gamblers after joining the team after 27 games with the Minnesota Magicians of the NAHL where he had 9-21--30 in 27 games...Played for Germany at WJC-18 in 2012-13 and member of German U20 team that played at 2015 World Junior Championship tourney...Named 2014 German Junior League Player of the Year.
