ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team fell to the University of Mary 6-1 Friday evening in St. Peter, Minn.
With the loss, MSU drops to 3-4 on the season, including a 1-2 NSIC record. With the win, U-Mary improves to 2-1, including a 2-1 conference record.

Monika Ryan recorded the lone doubles win for the Mavericks as they defeated Tasha Dembo and Yusra Hegy 7-6 in the No. 1 doubles match.
U-Mary then went on to win five of the six singles matches to claim the 6-1 dual victory. Streeter tallied MSU's lone singles victory as she defeated Dembo 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles match. Freshman
Lauren Goth went to a deciding third set against Kali Askvig in the No. 6 singles match, but she fell by the scores of 4-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Minnesota State returns to action this Sunday as it hosts MSU Moorhead at 8:00 a.m.
