Burnsville, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team has been picked to finish first in the NSIC Preseason Men's Indoor Track and Field Coaches Poll.
The Mavericks received 11 first-place votes and 121 points to top the poll. The University of Mary is ranked second with 105 points, while Augustana, which had the other first-place vote, came is third with 101 points.
The Mavericks have won the last eight NSIC men's indoor track & field championships and 14 titles dating back to 1969.
