ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team fell to 3-8 Monday morning as Concordia-New York defeated the Mavericks 8-1.

Monika Ryan put forth the best effort in the No. 1 doubles match, but they fell to Siri Victorsson and Kristel Kalm by the score of 8-5.
Minnesota State managed to win just one of the six singles matches as Concordia-New York locked down its 8-1 win. Freshman
Tyanna Washa recorded MSU's lone point as she defeated Katrina Sta Cruz 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 6 singles match. Streeter's No. 1 singles match against Victorsson went to a deciding third set, but it was Victorsson who came away with the 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6) win.
The Mavericks continue their spring break trip in Orlando, Fla., on Tuesday as they take on John Carroll University. The dual is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
