ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team fell to Missouri Western State 7-2 this afternoon in Orlando, Fla. MSU now owns a 3-7 record, while MWSU improved to 7-3.
The Griffons began the dual winning all three of the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. The Maverick duo of junior

Tyanna Washa put forth the best effort in the No. 3 doubles match, but they fell to Federica Salmaso and Emilee Dent by the score of 8-6.
Missouri Western was then able to lock down the dual after winning four of the six singles matches for the 7-2 win. MSU junior

Madeline Muotka each won their singles match. Streeter bested Bojana Vuskan 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) in the No. 1 singles match, while Muotka defeated Dent 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 6 singles match.
The Mavericks continue their spring break trip in Orlando, Fla., on Monday as it takes on Concordia-New York. The dual is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.
