SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --- Minnesota State finished its road trip Saturday evening with a 9-0 loss to Augustana.
With the loss, the Mavericks drop to 1-4, including a 0-2 NSIC record. With the win, Augie improves to 3-1, including a 1-0 conference record.
The Vikings began the dual winning all three of the doubles matches. The team of junior
Erin Streeter and sophomore
Monika Ryan fell to Kornelia Staniszewska and Berkley Darr 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles match.
Augustana finished the dual winning all six of the singles matches to complete the 9-0 sweep. Freshman
Tyanna Washa fell to Annika Teske 6-0, 6-4 in the No. 5 singles match, while freshman
Madeline Muotka fell to Kaitlyn Motley 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 6 singles match.
The Mavericks return to action on Saturday, Feb. 17, as they take on the Winona State Warriors in Owatonna, Minn. The dual is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
