CROOKSTON, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team rallied during the singles matches Saturday evening to defeat Bemidji State 5-4.
With the win, MSU improves to 8-10 on the season, including a 6-4 NSIC record. With the loss, BSU drops to 11-5, including a 5-5 record in conference action. The Mavericks have now won their last four duals
The dual favored the Beavers early on as they swept the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-5, 8-3 and 8-6 to take a 3-0 lead.
Minnesota State was able to respond decisively in the singles matches as it won five of the six to claim a 5-4 win. Four of MSU's singles victories came in straight sets.

Erin Streeter won her seventh No. 1 singles match of the season as she bested Morgan Opp 6-0, 6-1. Senior
Kelly Lechowski earned he sixth No. 2 singles match victory of the season with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Zoe Lindgren.

Kelly Spielman each turned in identical 6-3, 6-1 wins in the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches, respectively, while senior
Kelly Spielman defeated Ariadna Lopez-Simo 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 1-0 (11-9) in the No. 3 singles match to lock down the win for the Mavericks.
Minnesota State wraps up its regular season schedule on Sunday as it takes on Minnesota Crookston. The road dual is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.
