In game two, Minnesota State got on the board first in the bottom of the third when Jordan Hart singled to right field to score
Teddy Petersen. The Bulldogs knotted the score at 1-1 in the top of the sixth on a
Tyler Wojciechowki with a sacrifice fly to left field that scored
Grant Farley. The Mavericks retook the lead in the bottom of the sixth after Noah Bluth's double to left scored Dresel for what proved to be the game-winning run.
