Biography

2018: Appeared in 35 games (24 starts)...Hit .313 with a .404 on-base percentage, .400 slugging percentage, 25 hits, seven doubles, 10 walks, three hit by pitch, 17 runs scored and 10 RBI...Named to NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2017: Made Maverick debut against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 25...Played in 53 games, including 42 starts...Batted .302 with a .396 on-base percentage, a .481 slugging percentage, 39 hits, 13 walks, six sacrifice bunts, 28 runs scored, 34 RBI and four home runs...Was third on team in on-base percentage...Had two grand slams on season.   

2016: Did not see action in 2016.

High School: Joined the Maverick program following his prep career Northfield (Minn.) High School... Named 2014 Missota All-Conference Honorable Mention while posting a .317 batting average, 10 RBI, six doubles, 10 stolen bases and scoring 20 runs...Selected as a 2013 Missota All-Conference Honorable Mention and helped lead his team to a second place conference and section finish.

Personal: Played basketball and was captain of the football team for the Raiders earning Big Nine All-Conference honors as his team finished as the conference champions...Son of Matt and Barb McDonald...Born September 9, 1996.
