ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season schedule Sunday morning with a 9-0 sweep of Minnesota Crookston.
With the win, the Mavericks improve to 9-8 on the season, including a 7-4 NSIC record. With the loss, the Golden Eagles fall to 0-14 on the season, including a 0-10 NSIC record.
MSU began the day winning all three of its doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead.

Abby Schmidt, shutout their respective opponents by the score of 8-0. Junior

Erin Streeter notched an 8-2 win over Whitney Erickson and Catherine Brown in the No. 1 doubles match as well.
The Mavericks continued their dominance in the six singles matches to claim a 9-0 victory.

Katie Salinda all won the singles matches by the scores of 6-0, 6-0, while McCann bested Reanne Erickson in the No. 4 singles match by the scores of 6-1, 6-0. Mashburn and Brown went into a deciding third set in the No. 1 singles match, but it was Mashburn that was able to come away with the 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-3) victory.
The Mavericks will return to action on Saturday, April 23, as they take part in the first round of the NSIC Tournament in Minnetonka, Minn. MSU's opponent has yet to be determined.
