Brianna Quade made 23 saves in goal, but Minnesota State women's hockey lost 6-0 in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game against No. 10 North Dakota on Friday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Charley Dahlquist and Emma Nuutinen recorded two goals each for North Dakota (3-1-1, 2-1-0-0 WCHA). Dahlquist, who scored the game-winning goal at 12:13 in the first, scored her second goal at 4:12 in the second period. Nuutinen's goals came at 1:53 and 16:09 in the third period. The Fighting Hawks' other two goals were scored by Abbey Stanley at 12:48 in the first period and Rebekah Kolstad at 11:47 in the third.
Quade (1-3-0) made 23 saves in the losing effort, while Lexie Shaw (3-0-1) stopped 17 shots to earn her second shutout of the season for North Dakota.
The Mavericks, who were outshot by the Fighting Hawks 29-17, have lost three straight games -- all on the road against top-ten ranked opponents -- since starting the season 2-0.
Minnesota State and North Dakota conclude their two-game series on Saturday at 2:07 p.m., at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
