Men's Track and Field

Mavericks Continue to Charge Towards Final Rounds

Allendale, Mich. --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team kept rolling at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships as they saw a few other events qualify for the final round.

Emmanuel Matadi (St. Paul, Minn.) qualified as the second-best runner in the 200-meters with a time of 20.94.  Fellow senior Kyran Stewart (Camilla, Ga.) will join Matadi in the blocks after posting a time of 21.31.

Myles Hunter (Conyers, Ga.) finished the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.08 which put him fifth and in position for a chance at points tomorrow afternoon.
Nathan Hancock (Independence, Mo.) finished his illustrious career as a Maverick taking 14th in the decathlon event.

Tomorrow marks the final round of the NCAA Championships which will begin around 11:00 a.m. in Allendale, Mich.
