Humacao, Puerto Rico --- The Minnesota State women’s tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip with a 9-0 loss to Bucknell.
With the loss, MSU falls to 6-6 on the season.
MSU lost all three of the doubles matches against the Bucknell. Senior
Brandi Dohmen and sophomore
Shealyn Bakke lost the No. 1 doubles match to Maria Cioffi and Stephanie Pino 8-7 (7-2).
The Mavericks also dropped all six singles matches. Freshman
Alexis Haakedahl fell to Jen Bush 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 5 singles match.
MSU returns to action March 23 as it takes on Gustavus Adolphus and Upper Iowa at the Swanson Tennis Center in St. Peter, Minn.
