St. Peter, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women’s tennis team lost its first dual of the season Sunday afternoon, as it fell to Augustana 9-0.
With the loss, MSU falls to 4-1 on the season, with a 3-1 record in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
The Mavericks fell in straight sets in all six singles matches. MSU also lost all three doubles matches.
MSU returns to action on the road Saturday, as it takes on the St. Catherine Wildcats, at 5:30 p.m.
