Mankato, Minn. ---  The Minnesota State women’s tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over Bethany Lutheran College Wednesday afternoon at the tennis courts on the campus of Bethany Lutheran College.

The victory wrapped up the fall portion of the Minnesota State schedule.

The Mavericks swept doubles victory as senior #Brandi Dohmen# and sophomore Shealyn Bakke picked up an 8-4 victory.  Freshman #Sarah McCann# and junior Alexis Ronney earned an 8-4 victory at the #2 flight and freshmen Kelly Lechowski and Alexis Haakedahl won 8-2 at the #3 flight.

In singles action, Dohmen picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at the #1 flight and McCann won 6-0, 6-3 at the #2 flight.  Lechowski won 6-1, 6-0 at the #3 flight and Bakke won 6-1, 6-1 at the #4 flight while Ronney 6-1, 6-1.  Ronney earned a 6-0, 6-4 win at the #5 slot and Haakedahl concluded the shutout with a  6-0, 6-0 victory.

Minnesota State returns to action this winter.
