Box Score Mankato, Minn. --- Concordia University starter Ashley Kluever threw a complete-game one-hitter to pace the Golden Bears to a 3-1 victory over sixth-ranked Minnesota State in the NCAA Central Sub-Region finals Sunday afternoon in Mankato, Minn.
Kluever worked around eight walks in the victory as she recorded five strikeouts. The win marked her 19
th of the season. Concordia (33-21) advances to the NCAA SuperRegional next weekend in Sioux Falls, S.D., against Augustana College while Minnesota State’s season comes to an end with a 49-10 record.

Chelsea Erickson all drew consecutive one-out walks to load the bases.
Concordia starter Ashley Kluever used a pair of strikeouts to work her way out of the jam to avoid any damage.
Freshman third baseman
Brittani Robinson led off the top of the second with a double to leftcenter before moving to third on a wild pitch. Senior second baseman
Amanda Umhoefer would draw MSU’s fourth walk of the game before stealing second.
Robinson then scored the game’s first run on a passed ball as MSU took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the second inning.
The Golden Bears opened the bottom half of the second with a double of their own as catcher Missie Feuerbach doubled to rightfield. Shortstop Brynn Larsen followed with a walk before designated player Cassie Bertelsen reached on a fielders’ choice to load the bases.
First baseman Katie Feauerbach followed with a single through the right side to drive in Missie Feuerbach, knotting the game at one.
Concordia then took its first lead of the game as centerfielder Katie Anderson singled to right, scoring Larsen. Leftfielder
Alicia Meiser then walked to load the bases before Minnesota State starter
Kendra Huettl used a lineout to get out the inning without any further damage.
Rightfielder Erin Tjornhom and Missie Feuerbach reached on back-to-back singles to start the bottom of the third for Concordia before Larsen singled to left to load the bases for second baseman Bekah Roth.
Tjornhom concluded the scoring in the third inning as she scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Bertelsen, pushing the advantage to 3-1.
Huettl took the loss for Minnesota State, allowing three runs on seven hits while walking five and striking out four. The loss was just her fourth of the season against 24 victories.
