The Facts: The Minnesota State women's tennis team (10-9, 7-3 NSIC) travels to Minnetonka, Minn., this weekend to participate in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships, which will be played at the Lifetime Fitness Center Village Tennis.
    
The Mavericks open the event as the #4 seed and will face fifth-seeded St. Cloud State Saturday at 11 a.m.  The winner of the match faces top-seeded Augustana at 4 p.m.

What Just Happened: The Mavericks downed St. Benedict, 5-4, last Thursday evening in St. Joseph, Minn.  Freshman #5 singles player Laura May clinched the win with her 7-5, 6-2 win.

About Our Opponents: St. Cloud State enters the weekend owners of a 10-13 and were 6-4 in the NSIC.
