The Facts: The Minnesota State women's tennis team (6-7, 4-1 NSIC) takes to the road this weekend as it travels to St. Cloud Saturday for a pair of neutral site matches against Bemidji State (2:30 p.m.) and Winona State (4:30 p.m.).
What Just Happened: Minnesota State played to a 1-2 record. The weekend opened with a 9-0 loss to Gustavus before dropping a heartbreaking 5-4 match to Upper Iowa.
The Mavericks rebounded Sunday to earn a 9-0 win over Southwest Minnesota State.
About Our Opponents: Bemidji State enters the weekend with a 2-9 record and are 2-2 the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Winona State enters the weekend with a 10-2 record and are 2-1 in the NSIC. The Warriors were ranked eighth in the first edition of the ITA Central Region rankings and sophomore Leah Dahl is ranked 14th in the region for singles.
