The Facts: The Minnesota State women's tennis returns from a one-week hiatus this week as it plays a doubleheader Saturday.
     
The day kicks off with a match against St. Olaf in Owatonna at 1 p.m., before traveling to Minnetonka to face MSU Moorhead at 7 p.m.

The match-up against the Oles will take place at the Owatonna Indoor Tennis Center while MSU takes on MSU Moorhead at the Lifetime Fitness.

What Just Happened:  MSU played to a 3-1 record to open the 2012 campaign during the first weekend of February.

Minnesota State opened the weekend with a pair of 9-0 wins over Bethany Lutheran and Sioux Falls.  The Mavericks then dropped a 7-0 decision to the University of South Dakota before opening the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference portion of its schedule with a 6-3 win over Minnesota Duluth.

About Our Opponents: St. Olaf enters the weekend with a 1-0 record while MSU Moorhead is 1-0 (1-0 NSIC).

Last week, St. Olaf opened its season with an 8-1 win over Concordia (Moorhead) while MSU Moorhead downed Minnesota, Crookston, 8-1 in its NSIC lidlifter.
    
As a Squad: Minnesota State played to a 17-7 (.708) record in singles play this year and is 7-5 in doubles action.  Flights 2-6 have yielded a 3-1 record for MSU while the #1 flight is 2-2.

In doubles action, MSU is 2-2 at the #1 and #3 flight and 3-1 at the #2 flight.
