Grand Island, Neb. --- The Minnesota State men’s tennis team closed out a three-match trip to the state of Nebraska with a 6-1 loss to Mesa State Saturday afternoon.
The Maverick’s lone win came at the #1 doubles position where sophomores
Cole Jensen and
Mitch Barr – ranked #8 in the region – defeated the third-ranked doubles team in the region, Jaco Gerbarands and Joseph Aragon, 8-5.
Minnesota State (4-10) continues action Thursday when it opens the month of April with a 6:30 match against former North Central Conference rival, St. Cloud State, in St. Peter, Minn.
