Winona, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men’s tennis team saw its 2011 season come to an end Tuesday with a 7-2 loss to Saint Mary’s University (Minn.).
The Mavericks two wins came in singles competition as sophomore #1 singles player
Mitch Barr won by default while sophomore #3 player
Cole Jensen won by a score of 6-1, 6-1.
The match was closer than the score indicates as MSU dropped super-tiebreakers in the #2, #4 and #5 singles position.
Minnesota State’s season comes to an end with a 5-12 record.
