Sartell, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men’s tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to rival St. Cloud State Thursday afternoon.

The Mavericks lone wins came at #1 doubles and #1 singles.  At the top doubles flight, sophomores Mitch Barr and Cole Jensen earned an 8-5 win, while Barr earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory at the #1 singles flight.

The Mavericks (2-3) return to action next month when they travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico for their springbreak trip.
