St. Peter, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team suffered a 6-3 loss to Winona State Sunday morning at the Swanson Tennis Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.
Winona State took two of the three doubles points as senior
Paige Burke and junior
Heather Jensen earned a 9-7 win at the #2 flight to pick up the only victory for Minnesota State.
In singles play, freshman #3 player
Brandi Dohmen earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Laura Lindstrand, while Jensen downed Laura Roesslein, 6-1, 6-3 at the #6 flight.
Minnesota State (10-11, 5-4 NSIC) closes out the regular season portion of its schedule Saturday as it travels to Northern State for a 10:30 a.m., match-up with the Wolves.
