Springfield, Mass. --- Minnesota State senior center Travis Nelson (Marion, Iowa) started and scored 15 points while hauling in four rebounds as the East All-Stars fell to the West squad, 133-125 in the NABC/Division II All-Star Game held in Springfield, Mass.
Nelson finished 7-of-11 from the field and 1-of-2 from the free throw line in the loss. He played 24 minutes in the loss.
Nelson is the third Maverick in the history of the program to play in the NABC/Division II All-Star game, joining Luke Anderson (2007) and Atila Santos (2008).
Minnesota State finished the 2009-10 season with a 25-5 record.
