What Lies Ahead:  The Minnesota State women's tennis team, ranked #5 in this week's ITA Central Regional Rankings travels to Kearney, Neb., to play a trio of NCAA Central Region matches Friday and Saturday.
    The Mavericks open the trip with a 4 p.m., match against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Friday, before playing Mesa State at 9 a.m., Saturday and Metro State at 1 p.m., Saturday.

What Just Happened:  Last week Mavericks split a pair of matches, falling to St. Cloud State 7-2 and defeating Bemidji State, 8-1.

Rankings:  In the March 2 edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, the Maverick women were ranked fifth in the central region.  The latest regional ranking did not include singles or doubles rankings.  The next set of regional rankings will be released March 30.

What's Next: Minnesota State return to action April 8th when it travels to Sartell, Minn., to take on St. Cloud State in a league match.
