What Lies Ahead:  The Minnesota State women's tennis team, ranked #5 in the last fall's latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association regional poll hosts Southwest Minnesota State Sunday morning at 9:30 at the Gustavus Tennis Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.

What Just Happened:  Minnesota State opened the 2010 season with three victories last weekend.  The Mavericks lifted the lid on the 2010 campaign with a 9-0 victory over Bethany Lutheran last Friday (2/5) and followed it up with a 9-0 victory over Martin Lutheran (2/6).  The Mavericks closed its weekend with a 7-2 victory in its first league match of the season against Minnesota Duluth (2/7).

Rankings:  The Mavericks are ranked #5 in the region as a team.  Junior Sarah Madigan is ranked #14 in the region individually.

What's Ahead: Minnesota State continues league action Feb. 20 in Grand Forks against Minnesota, Crookston for a 9 a.m., match before returning home Feb. 21, for a 1 p.m., tilt against MSU Moorhead. Both matches are league matches.
