2021: Appeared in 68 sets this season and recorded 84 kills, 47 blocks and 26 digs... Garnered a career high 10 kills against UW-Parkside on 9/03/21... Had a career high 5 blocks 3 times in contests this season... Season high of 7 digs.

High School: A 5-11 outside hitter from Watertown, S.D., Tietz is a member of the Watertown High School volleyball team that made back-to-back AA South Dakota State Tournaments.  As a senior, Tietz was named to the state all-tournament team, and set a high school season block record with 146.  Sophie also owns the career blocks record for her high school at 326 and counting.
