2022: Played in 28 of Minnesota State’s 28 matches and appeared in 101 sets… Led the team in blocks with 109…Also recorded 38 digs and finished third on the team in kills with 181… Was named to the NSIC All-Academic team… Recorded a season-high of 12 kills vs. MSU Moorhead.

2021: Appeared in 90 sets for the Mavericks recording a team high 109 blocks and 142 kills. Had a season high 10 blocks at UW-Parkside. Finished 3rd in the NSIC in blocks and tied for 34th in the country as a freshman. Had season high 10 kills against Colorado Christian (9/10/21) and Mary (9/17/21).

High School: A 6-0 middle hitter from Plymouth, Minn., Kiya was named to the Under Armour All-American watch list for 2020 and ranked #32 on Prepdigs 2021 Minn. player rankings and named honorable mention all-conference during her high school career.

Personal: Durant has not decided a major at this time but is leaning towards a degree in STEM.
