Megan Bezdicek was hired as Assistant Coach of the Minnesota State women's volleyball program in July of 2022 and elevated to Associate Head Coach in June of 2025. She spent the 2021-2022 as Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Mavericks.
Prior to joining the MSU coaching staff, Bezdicek was an assistant coach at Spirit Lake High School for five years where she helped lead the Indians to an overall record of 108-37 and a district final appearance. During her time at Spirit Lake, she helped coach twelve all-conference players, three all-state players and had ten athletes go on to play at the colligate level.
She spent 2013 to 2016 as the head coach of the women’s volleyball program at Iowa Lakes Community College. During her three years leading the Lakers, Bezdicek guided the program to a 50-25 overall record, had eight all-conference players and seven all-region selections. Six of her players went on to play at various levels of the NCAA and NAIA. The program was also honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) team academic award two times. While at Iowa Lakes, Bezdicek also served as one of the success center coordinators.
Bezdicek played collegiate volleyball at Augustana (College) University in Sioux Falls, SD, where she was a team captain for her last two years. During her time with the Vikings, she earned academic all-conference honors three times. A native of Jackson, MN, she was a three-sport standout for the Huskies earning multiple all-conference honors in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was also a two-time all-state honoree in volleyball and one-time all-state selection in softball.
Bezdicek graduated from Augustana in 2012 with degrees in athletic training, biology, and secondary education. She is currently pursuing her master's degree from MSU in Counseling and Student Personnel.
