Kennedy Fabian

Kennedy Fabian joined the Minnesota State volleyball staff in August of 2020 as an assistant coach. Prior to joining the Mavericks, Fabian coached one year at the University of Cincinnati as the volunteer assistant. During that time, the UC Bearcats won the AAC regular-season championship and made it to NCAA regionals (sweet 16) for the first time in program history. 

2021: She helped guide the Mavericks to a 14-14 overall record and a 9-11 NSIC record.

She also coached for three years at Kokoro Volleyball Club as a head, assistant, and skills coach. Fabian was the first assistant at White Bear Lake High School from 2017-2018 and was named the section 2018 4AAA Assistant Coach of the Year. 

Fabian competed in high school as a setter/rightside hitter at Hill-Murray where, in 2013, she helped lead the Pioneers to their first state appearance. Along the way she was named to the All Tournament Team at the MSHSL state tournament, All State Honorable Mention and All-East Metro. Following high school, Fabian spent a year with the women's volleyball program at Indiana University before transferring to the University of Minnesota to play club volleyball where began her coaching career. Her team was ranked in the top 10 in the nation for DI women's club volleyball programs.

Fabian graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2018 with a degree in Strategic Communications and Design.
