2024: Klein played in 27 matches and 98 sets in her freshman season with the Mavericks… Ended the year with 263 kills, 13 aces, 169 digs and 49 total blocks… Recorded 20 kills, 23 digs and four blocks in the team’s upset win over #10 Southwest Minnesota State, all career-highs… Tallied three or more blocks in eight games in 2024… Had three aces in the Mavericks’ final two games of the season, including a trio of points at the service line against Concordia-St. Paul in Minnesota State’s first NSIC Tournament game since 2018… Was named to the NSIC All-Conference First Team for her freshman performance.

High School: Avery is a 5-foot-10-inch right side hitter from New Prague, Minn...Avery earned MNVBCA Class AAAA All-State and All-Metro second team honors as a senior for New Prague High School...Klein was also named to the 2023 Class AAAA All-Tournament Team and the Metro West All-Conference Team her junior and senior seasons... She recorded 525 kills in her senior season at New Prague, a school record, finishing with 1,060 career kills...
