Pre-MSU: Attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls...Two-time All-MCAC with a 9-2 record in 80 innings featuring 89 strikeouts.

High School: Nine-time letterwinner for the Kennedy Otters in baseball, soccer and hockey.

Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1994...Son of Dave and Leslie Gaustad...Proposed business management major...Cousin of Paul Gaustad (NHL-Nashville), Ryan Potulny (NHL-Washington), and Grant Potulny (Coach at University of Minnesota).
