Biography

AS A MAVERICK:  Four-year letterwinner was a two-time team captain (junior and senior seasons).

2012-13:  Played in 142 career games (3-24--27) and owned a career +15 mark...Matched his career single-season highs for assists (7) and points (8) in 2012-13...Played in 64 straight games to end career...2012-13 WCHA All-Academic selection.

2011-12:  Assisted on Joe Schiller's goal at Minnesota Duluth on March 9 in the first round of the WCHA playoffs and then scored his first goal of the season in the next game against the third-rated Bulldogs (03.10.2012)...Led the Mavericks with a +4 on the year...Had 1-3--4 in the last eight games of the season...Played in first game of the season (1-0 win at St. Lawrence), then missed 13 games due to broken arm...Has 2-17--19 and is +10 in 101 career games...2011-12 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2011-12 WCHA All-Academic selection.

2010-11: Totalled 1-7--8 to rank 14th on the team in scoring as a sophomore...One of six Mavericks to play in all 38 games in 2010-11...Ranked third on the team with a +5...Scored first career goal Oct. 16, 2010 in a 5-5 overtime tie at Michigan Tech...Named team's Hardest Worker...2010-11 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2010-11 WCHA All-Academic selection.

2009-10: Charted 0-5--5 in 38 games played for the Mavericks in 2009-10....+1 on the year tied for ninth on MSU’s plus-minus charts...Recorded first career point when he assisted on Jerad Stewart’s goal in MSU’s season-opening win over Bowling Green Oct. 9.

THE ELBRECHT FILE:  Had 2-9--11 in 41 games with St. Louis of the North American Hockey League in 2008-09...St. Louis team captain...Named to South Division All-Star Team and played in NAHL Top Prospects Tournament...Spent the 2007-08 campaign with Omaha of the USHL...Named Omaha’s Most Improved player...Lancers won 2007-08 USHL play-off and regular season titles...2006 Marquette High School (Chesterfield, Mo.) grad.
